As a senior engineering manager, you will:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the company, and implement platform strategy, creating valuable services for clients and users.
- Oversee the assigned ecosystem platform(s) to ensure stability and quality, setting product strategy and delivering new features and enhancements.
- Develop platform strategy, roadmap, and operating plans, influencing stakeholders, particularly major clients, to achieve shared goals.
- Lead a diverse team, managing career development and growth, with a focus on coaching future leaders.
Requirements:
- Managed multicultural teams of 20+ members for over 8 years, emphasizing leadership and people management skills.
- Built and operated high-traffic, critical platforms with extensive experience.
- Demonstrated strong ownership and accountability, especially in managing production issues.
- Possesses a solid understanding of both business and technology, facilitating informed decision-making and productive stakeholder discussions.
- Fluency in both Japanese and English
