Operations Manager - Tokyo

A global investment management firm headquartered in Europe is seeking an experienced bilingual Operations Manager to join its Tokyo office. This is a dynamic, hands-on role offering broad exposure across the full spectrum of investment operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and eager to grow within a lean, high-impact team.

Responsibilities:

• Rotate across various operations tasks including trade support, reporting, reconciliations, manage OTC derivatives and collateral management processes

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and settlement

• Maintain and improve operational manuals and workflows

• Participate in initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and risk controls

Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of experience in investment operations (asset management preferred, sell-side welcome)

• Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency

• Knowledge of OTC derivatives, client reporting, and related operational workflows

• Experience with reporting and reconciliations preferred

• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
