HR Director - Okinawa



We are looking for an experienced HR Director for a well-known hotel in Okinawa. This role is crucial in creating a positive work environment and managing a diverse team. You'll have the chance to lead HR projects and contribute to the hotel's success.





Key Responsibilities:


- Develop and implement programs to improve workplace culture, including annual employee satisfaction surveys.
- Provide HR advice to department leaders to boost productivity and performance.
- Oversee onboarding to ensure new hires fit in well.
- Ensure personnel records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Make sure hiring processes follow legal and company guidelines.
- Build strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
- Help develop and monitor personnel budgets.
- Manage staffing levels to optimize costs.
- Review wage and benefit trends to stay competitive.
- Promote the hotel in the community and encourage staff involvement.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Handle workplace issues and manage employee relations.
- Manage labor relations and represent the hotel in union discussions if needed.




Qualifications & Experience:


- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of HR experience, with 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR practices.
- Proven experience in talent management, organizational development, and employee relations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
