A private equity start-up in Tokyo is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. This role is an opportunity to shape a growing company by working closely with the CEO to identify and evaluate investment opportunities. The successful candidate will be crucial to the company's growth, using their financial skills and entrepreneurial mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Lead the financial strategy for a developing private equity fund.
• - Work with the CEO on investment and business development.
• - Assess potential investment opportunities and manage applicant selection.
• - Provide insights for budgeting and forecasting.
• - Support company growth with a forward-thinking approach.
• - Use business life cycle knowledge to guide investment strategies.

Qualifications:

• - Experience in venture capital or start-up environments, preferably in Japan.
• - Skilled in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning.
• - Fluent in Japanese and English, with strong communication skills.
• - Previous CFO experience in a VC fund is a plus but not required.
• - Strong leadership skills and proactive problem-solving ability.
• - Familiarity with early-stage or angel-stage start-up investments.
