We're recruiting for a leader in the corporate communications field for our client within the automotive industry.
The incumbent will take charge of both external and internal corporate communications, along with public affairs within the Japanese market. Collaborating closely with the company's global communications and management teams, you will manage a dedicated team to execute an ambitious communications strategy.
The office is based in Saitama, and remote work is available.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate a local team to execute the communications strategy
Manage the company's reputation
Develop and implement local communications content
Strengthen employee engagement and communications, including Diversity & Inclusion
Foster media relations and expand social media presence
Propel the company's motorsport division
Maintain productive relationships with government and union representatives
Handle statutory financial reporting
Drive cultural change initiatives
Qualifications:
University degree or equivalent
Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese
Minimum 15 years of experience in corporate communications, preferably with experience in both local and international roles
Demonstrated leadership skills
Experience in the automotive/manufacturing sector would be advantageous but is not compulsory
