IT Director / Head of IT (Global Retail)

Our client are a leading luxury/retail group, recruiting an IT Director for Japan.

This is a senior leadership role. You'll manage an already-mature team at a world famous luxury group, and you'll oversee all IT operations across both in-store IT and e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Act as local IT Business Partner (report to global CIO).
• - Oversee Japan IT governance and systems.
• - Lead multiple internal IT teams, including IS, IT support, and security staff.
• - Manage external vendors.
• - Manage IT service for store projects, including openings, relocations, and pop-ups.
• - Provide internal IT support across the business.
• - Manage IT budget.
• - Lead large-scale projects like CRM, ERP, POS, and e-commerce implementations.
• - Ensure data protection / cybersecurity.
• - Crisis Management

Key Qualifications:

• - Over 10 years of relevant IT experience
• - Team management experience.
• - Experience in retail / B2C environments
• - Experience in retail-relevant projects (eg. CRM, ERP, POS)
• - Must be fluent in Japanese.
