Job Description

We are looking for an HR Operations and Payroll Manager or Assistant Manager for a global luxury brand in Tokyo. The role involves managing payroll for 200 employees and overseeing various HR operations. You will handle both strategic and practical tasks, focusing on clear communication and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

Manage monthly payroll processes, ensuring they are accurate and follow local laws.

月次給与プロセスを管理し、正確かつ現地法規に準拠して実施する。

Respond to payroll questions quickly and address issues as needed.

給与に関する質問に迅速に対応し、必要に応じて問題を解決する。

Oversee the payroll lifecycle, including hiring, departures, salary reviews, and bonuses.

採用、退職、給与改定、ボーナスを含む給与ライフサイクルを統括する。

Work with external vendors for payroll and tax matters.

給与および税務に関して外部ベンダーと連携する。

Create payroll reports with the finance team.

財務チームと協力して給与レポートを作成する。

Manage HR systems like Workday for employee records and reviews.

従業員記録および評価のためにWorkdayなどのHRシステムを管理する。

Organize HR documents in digital and paper formats.

HR文書をデジタルおよび紙媒体で整理する。

Handle social insurance and ensure compliance with HR policies.

社会保険を管理し、HRポリシーへの準拠を確保する。

Support annual health checks and update HR induction materials.

年次健康診断をサポートし、HR導入資料を更新する。

Qualifications

Over 5 years of experience in payroll and HR operations, ideally in a company with over 200 employees.

給与およびHRオペレーションにおける5年以上の実務経験（従業員200名以上の企業での経験が望ましい）。

Experience in the retail industry is helpful; luxury or fashion sector experience is a plus.

小売業界での経験がある方歓迎。ラグジュアリーまたはファッション業界での経験があれば尚可。

Strong understanding of payroll, compensation, benefits, and local labor laws.

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Detail-oriented with strong numerical and analytical skills.
