Design Manager (team management role)

Our client are a global B2C company with a well-established presence in Japan, recruiting a Design Manager. You'll manage a team of designers and oversee visual strategy in Japan.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of designers.
• Develop and implement visual design strategies.
• Ensure brand consistency & visual quality across all marketing channels.
• Collaborate with other marketing teams internally.
• Oversee design projects from inception to completion; manage deadlines and budgets.
• Manage external vendors.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years of experience in visual design.
• Project / team leadership experience (preferred).
• Comprehensive portfolio displaying a variety of visual design work.
• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Figma.
• Must be fluent in Japanese.
