We are seeking a Data and Analytics Manager/Senior Manager for a leading FMCG company in Tokyo. This role involves leading a team of data scientists, engineers, and business intelligence experts to improve data and analytics products for key business units. You will be joining a global organization focused on innovation and sustainability, promoting a diverse and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

• - Lead a team to develop and improve data and analytics solutions.
• - Serve as the main contact for data initiatives between business unit leaders and global analytics teams.
• - Help executives understand and use data insights to boost business results.
• - Manage the entire lifecycle of data products, from design to maintenance.
• - Align business goals with data analytics capabilities.
• - Implement data governance and management standards.
• - Promote the use of data analytics tools within the company.
• - Evaluate the return on investment from analytics projects.
• - Work with different teams to maintain and implement a data strategy.
• - Prioritize and manage data projects to meet organizational needs.
• - Solve challenges in delivering analytics solutions by working with delivery teams.
• - Set and report on key performance indicators for data and analytics.

Qualifications:

• - Ability to understand complex business and strategy in a global setting, especially in Trade Marketing & Distribution.
• - Experience in marketing solutions supported by data analytics.
• - Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI), data modeling (Python or R), and data lake management.
• - Experience with Power BI, Python (or R), SQL, and Snowflake.
• - At least two years of experience managing a data analytics team.
• - Over four years of experience in developing data analytics systems using technologies like Java, JavaScript/Node.js, Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
• - Fluent in English, with business-level Japanese; Korean or Chinese is a plus.
