A leading global financial services company with an extensive network spanning over 30 countries is looking for a skilled C# / Java Developer to join its Equity Derivatives Development Team. Key Responsibilities
Participate in regional/global development and project meetings.
Collaborate with business analysts (BAs), project managers (PMs), and end users to gather and review requirements, providing design and enhancement suggestions.
Follow global development/change management standards to deliver high-quality enhancements in a timely manner.
Conduct development, code reviews, and post-mortem activities.
Participate in release management rotations and provide 2nd/3rd level support.
Work closely with the Equities production services team to ensure system stability and minimize business impact during incidents.
Contribute to a cohesive team culture to effectively solve local/global business challenges while building a strategic platform for Global Equities.
Requirements
Core Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering.
5-15 years of hands-on development experience.
Strong expertise in C# or Java (familiarity with both is a plus).
Ability to work in a global team environment with matrix reporting.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing front-office business needs.
Professional communication skills for interacting with IT teams and business stakeholders under strict deadlines.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Fluent written and spoken English.
