About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Manager to oversee and manage BI transformation initiatives. This role involves working with both local and offshore vendors, and requires strong technical proficiency in data ingestion, visualization tools, and report development, with a particular emphasis on Power BI.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee BI transformation projects, ensuring smooth collaboration with local and offshore vendors.
• Manage data ingestion processes utilizing technologies like Python, Spark, and Azure Data Factory.
• Implement and maintain data storage solutions, particularly Delta Lake.
• Design and develop BI reports and dashboards using Power BI, following best practices in reporting design.
• Provide user support for Power BI, including troubleshooting and training.
• Deliver high-quality BI solutions that align with the organization's business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Business Intelligence role.
• Proven experience leading BI transformation programs or projects.
• Strong technical skills in data ingestion using Python, Spark, Azure Data Factory, and Delta Lake.
• Proficiency with BI visualization tools, specifically Power BI.
• Demonstrated experience in report development and user support for Power BI.
• Fluency in Japanese (native) and English (business level).
