Area Learning & Development Director
We seek an experienced Area Learning & Development Director to lead L&D and Talent Development for a top luxury hospitality brand in Japan.
This role focuses on driving strategic initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders, and enhancing employee performance to elevate guest experiences.
Responsibilities:
- - Create and implement effective learning programs with department leaders.
- - Manage and oversee the annual training budget.
- - Lead training programs to ensure they meet brand standards.
- - Deliver Train-The-Trainer sessions and manage the learning management system.
- - Evaluate and improve training effectiveness and materials.
- - Oversee Management Trainee Programs and e-learning options.
- - Facilitate the annual Performance Appraisal Process and analyze training needs.
- - Share key business strategies, vision, and values with all staff.
Qualifications:
- - Fluent in English and Japanese, both spoken and written.
- - Degree or diploma in any field.
- - More than 5 years of experience in a luxury service, travel and hospitality environment.
- - Capable of delivering training across different cultures.
- - Excellent leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
- - Innovative thinker, willing to travel extensively.
