Our client, a major company in the insurance industry, is searching for an Operations Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a background in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and experience with cloud services.

Role Overview

The primary responsibility will be to manage, deploy, and automate new software applications. Candidates must have good communication skills, an ability to adapt, and a strong focus on finding and implementing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various applications and services.
• Implement tools to support the software development process.
• Automate the software release process.
• Oversee the maintenance of business applications and their configurations.
• Drive the adoption and implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives.
• Develop security and monitoring solutions to ensure the robustness of the environment.
• Proactively investigate and troubleshoot production incidents.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, RDS, S3, ALB.
• Experience with Kubernetes, including the management of deployments, services, and pods.
• Practical experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Argo Workflows.
• Understanding of container orchestration and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Groovy.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in DevOps/SRE/Operations roles.
• Certificates in Kubernetes or AWS are beneficial.
• English communication skills
• Japanese language skills would be beneficial.
