M&A Specialist (IT startup growth) - up to 10M JPY!

Our client are a fast-growing IT / software platform startup HQed in Japan, recruiting an M&A Specialist.

You'll be heavily involved in identifying, planning and executing M&A activities to help the company grow across Japan.

You'll work in the HQ of a fast-growing company with significant financial backing. You'll handle large M&A projects & collaborate directly with senior executives.

Responsibilities

• - Develop and implement sourcing strategies
• - Build relationships with key industry players, financial institutions, and intermediaries.
• - Lead due diligence processes (collaborate w/ external partners like accountants, lawyers, and social insurance consultants).
• - Assist in structuring M&A deals, preparing term sheets, and supporting acquisition negotiations.
• - Design and execute post-merger integration plans; ensure smooth assimilation of acquired entities.

Qualifications

• - Experience in M&A / PMI
• - Experience in major consulting firms (preferred).
• - Must be fluent in Japanese.
