Java API Developer - Leading International IT Company

Our client is global IT firm leader in partnering with companies to transform and manage their business through the power of technology. They have about more than 250,000 employees in about 50 countries around the world. They have been in the business for 5 decades. They are rapidly growing in Japan office and provide a wide range of integrated services that combine the highest level of technology with a wealth of expertise. The Japanese team is currently supporting reforms that enhance our customers' performance and competitiveness.

They are looking for a Java API Developer that will work to implement an API Management solution for their system transformation. What you will be doing is to mainly solve the business problems by designing and coding programs, running test, provide technical support to project teams throughout project lifecycle around technology platforms, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale system, and more.

The salary for this role is up to 10M, depending on experience and skills.

Required experience and skills:

• At least Business Japanese and English level. N3 is acceptable if good with speaking.
• Strong knowledge and experiences using Java
• Proficient understanding of algorithm design and CS fundamentals, with experience in designing, implementing and deploying web and mobile applications
• Experience with Waterfall development methodoligies, container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, etc), Cloud services (Azure or AWS), Web app development with Spring, and REST API design
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Good to have experience in DevOps Automation, SaaS systems, performance testing, and MongoDB
