As part of the Software Engineering, Data Science and AI team at Specialized Group, Rego helps emerging bilingual candidates find the best opportunity to thrive in the tech industry. He’s previously worked as a candidate consultant at a local recruitment firm in Japan, focusing on IT and Digital Marketing, for a short period before joining Specialized Group. Originally from Indonesia, he came to Japan in 2017 to pursue his bachelor's degree in Business Economics at Tokyo International University. He has taken leadership roles in cross-functional teams, organizations, and volunteering activities. At one point, he worked as an in-campus Peer Assistant and was elected president of the Indonesian Student Association in Japan, representing the Kanto region.

Rego is a proactive individual, geared with excellent communication skills that allow him to bring out the best potential from everyone. His defining quality — a balance of positive character and solid interpersonal intelligence — enables him to meet the interests of both employers and candidates. The multilingual consultant, that speaks English, Indonesian, Japanese, German, and currently studying French, is also an adventurous individual. In his free time, he enjoys travelling, working out, and exploring new things. You can also find Rego practising martial arts or catching up on the latest film and tv series in any genre.
