HR Manager
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager at the Associate Director level to lead HR operations for a new hotel in Tokyo. This role involves creating HR strategies for a growing hotel brand.
Responsibilities:
- - Submit HR reports on time and ensure compliance with local laws; manage employee data and advise management on HR policies.
- - Lead recruitment efforts, including approvals for hires, promotions, and payroll changes, ensuring they meet company and legal standards.
- - Create and update staffing plans and succession strategies; oversee evaluations and appraisals.
- - Research and maintain competitive pay packages; manage HR systems for payroll and benefits.
- - Build professional relationships between management and employees; handle labor disputes and ensure fair grievance processes.
- - Implement communication strategies and manage employee recognition programs.
- - Develop and manage training programs to improve employee performance and support business goals.
Qualifications:
- - 5-8 years of experience as an HR generalist or HR Business Partner.
- - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across functions.
- - In-depth knowledge of HR functions like employee relations, training, compensation, and policy implementation.
- - Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- - Experience in a multicultural environment and a commitment to innovation and change.
- - Fluent in English and Japanese.
