HR Business Partner (HRBP)

We are looking for an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our client, a leading company in the financial sector, in Tokyo. This important role needs someone proactive to handle various HR tasks and support a positive work environment. You will be part of a forward-thinking financial institution known for innovative HR practices, working with a global HR team to impact employee experiences and business success both regionally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • - Lead recruitment and talent acquisition, working with business leaders to create effective hiring strategies.
  • - Build and maintain a strong pool of candidates and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • - Handle HR and labor-related issues, helping leaders align projects with global HR strategies.
  • - Work with payroll and benefits teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • - Manage talent initiatives, such as succession planning and performance reviews.
  • - Work with the Organizational Development team on development and mobility plans.
  • - Identify HR risks and audit items to prevent potential issues.
  • - Ensure compliance with all legal and HR regulations, keeping up-to-date with HR laws.
  • - Complete required training to stay qualified for the role.


Qualifications:

  • - Fluent in Japanese and English, with strong communication skills.
  • - Strong knowledge of HR regulations and labor laws.
  • - Detail-oriented with good numerical and documentation skills.
  • - Client-focused, self-driven, and able to handle confidential information with care.
