HR Assistant Manager - Luxury B2C


We are seeking an HR Assistant Manager for a leading luxury brand's Tokyo office. You will work closely with the Japan Country Manager and teams in Paris and the APAC region. This role offers the chance to shape HR strategy and operations, with opportunities for career growth in the luxury sector.

Responsibilities:

  • - Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support business goals.
  • - Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • - Lead recruitment, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • - Plan and deliver employee training and development programs.
  • - Advise on employee relations and performance management.
  • - Implement recognition programs and organize employee events.
  • - Handle conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • - Manage onboarding and offboarding, coordinating with an outsourced vendor.
  • - Ensure compliance with local labor laws.
  • - Oversee employee benefits, including health and retirement plans.
  • - Address issues related to insurance, leave, and compensation.
  • - Oversee payroll, HRIS, and compliance.
  • - Work with labor outsourcing vendors on benefits administration.
  • - Attend regular meetings with global headquarters and regional HR leaders.
  • - Align local HR strategies with global goals.


Qualifications

  • - At least 5 years of HR management experience, ideally in retail.
  • - Fluent in Japanese and English skills.
  • - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • - Bachelor's degree required.
