High-Performance Computing Engineer - Full Remote OK!

The company is promoting digital transformation in the construction and surveying industry that supports society through their own SaaS products using their own cutting-edge technology. They are seeking a High-Performance Computing (HPC) Engineer to join our team and work on optimizing the computationally intensive processes of the 3D reconstruction engine used in our drone surveying and on-site management DX cloud system.

▼Key Responsibilities:

- Optimize computationally intensive processes within the 3D reconstruction engine (SSM) used in our drone surveying and on-site management DX cloud system "KUMIKI".

- Investigate and improve bottlenecks in essential processes to enhance performance.

- Design and develop optimal implementations for identified bottlenecks.

▼Required Skills and Experience

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computational Science or at least 5 years of practical experience in HPC software development.

- Ability to independently perform software development, debugging, bottleneck investigation, and performance improvement using at least one of the following: Python (NumPy), C++ (OpenMP, CUDA).

- General proficiency with Linux and Docker operations.

- Japanese intermediate-business level (team communication in English).
