Posiotion: Country IT Business Partner

As the IT Business Partner for Japan, you will play a crucial role in driving the alignment of IT strategies with business objectives and ensuring the successful delivery of IT services and projects within the Japan market.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic IT Alignment:
- Act as the primary IT point of contact for business leaders in Japan, aligning IT strategies and solutions with business goals.
- Partner with local leadership to identify opportunities where technology can drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, or enhance customer satisfaction.
Project Management and Delivery:
- Lead and coordinate local and global IT projects, ensuring alignment with company standards, timelines, and budgets.
- Oversee the successful implementation of IT solutions, including systems integration, ERP enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives.
IT Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure IT processes and solutions comply with local regulatory requirements and global corporate policies.
- Manage risk and security measures for IT systems to safeguard data and maintain business continuity.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality IT services and cost-effective solutions.
- Communicate effectively with regional and global IT teams, providing regular updates on Japan's IT priorities, challenges, and successes.
Operational IT Support:
- Oversee the day-to-day delivery of IT services, addressing escalated issues, and ensuring consistent performance.
- Provide guidance on optimizing the use of existing technology and suggest improvements to meet evolving business needs.
Key Requirements:
- Languages: Native or fluent Japanese and business-level English (both spoken and written) are essential.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT management, IT business partnering, or a similar role within a multinational environment.
- Proven track record in successfully managing IT projects and delivering business solutions.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of IT systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, digital tools) and infrastructure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to navigate cultural and organizational differences, working seamlessly in a global matrix structure.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
