Responsibilities

• - Lead & manage a team.
• - Prepare and review corporate and consumption tax returns.
• - Provide tax consultation and advisory services to clients.
• - Handle annual tax calculations and reviews (Tax Accrual).
• - Conduct and support tax audits.
• - Prepare individual income tax returns, including for foreign nationals.
• - Maintain and strengthen client relationships.
• - Engage in client acquisition and expand services for existing clients.
• - Collaborate with international offices and partner firms.
• - Analyze business processes and propose efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• - Certified Zeirishi.
• - Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance, business tax, and international tax at a major accounting firm.
• - Experience in income tax filings and tax audit support.
• - Team management / leadership experience.
• - Proficiency in tax software (e.g., TATSUJIN series) (preferred).
• - Experience in M&A and corporate reorganization tax (preferred).
• - Advisory experience in international tax (preferred).
• - MUST be fluent in Japanese.
