Our client are a major player in sustainability consulting & impact investments, recruiting junior ESG / Sustainability consultants.

You will work with a variety of clients, including major companies / financial institutions as well as government bodies, to tackle important social and environmental issues.

Our client offers a hybrid remote working model with great flexibility.

Responsibilities may include:

• - Understand client needs.
• - Propose and implement solutions to client challenges.
• - Create materials using qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• - Manage project timelines and solve emerging challenges.
• - Keep track of changes in sustainability trends and regulations.
• - Research and apply best practices to advise clients.
• - Attend industry events and network.
• - Write website articles and organize webinars.
• - Conduct internal sessions to share the latest sustainability information.

Qualifications:

• - Strong interest in sustainability and positive change.
• - Excellent project management skills, able to handle multiple client projects.
• - Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships.
• - MUST be fluent in Japanese.

Preferred, but not mandatory:

• - Related degrees & qualifications.
• - Knowledge of sustainability standards like ISSB, GRI, and TCFD/TNFD.
• - Familiarity with impact investment frameworks like Impact Frontiers, OPIM, and SIMI.
• - Business-level English ability.
• - Experience with quantitative data analysis / financial modeling.
