Our client is the largest e-commerce company in Japan, and third largest e-commerce marketplace company worldwide, they currently looking for a Software in Test to join their international team.
Position Details
End-to-end responsible for software and data quality assurance. Leverage on various testing strategies (be it automated test or manual test) to validate software functionality and performance, data accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and quality assurance teams to identify testing requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
Effectively report defects for test failures, and assist peers, and developers in triaging the test failures.
Drive continuous improvement in our testing processes through innovation and collaboration, leveraging automation and data-driven insights to enhance software quality and reliability.
Execute manual test scenarios for areas not yet automated, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and accuracy.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Proficiency in programming languages, with a preference for Java.
5+ years of experience in Software Test Automation, with a strong background in designing and implementing test automation for micro-service architecture.
Experience in test automation frameworks like, JUnit, TestNG, REST Assured, Selenium, Cypress, and tools like JMeter, Gatling,
Experience in performance testing methodologies and tools like JMeter, Gatling, Locust, or LoadRunner, including the ability to design, execute, and analyze performance tests for scalable and high-performance systems.
Experience of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Solr or Elasticsearch, along with experience in testing data processing.
