Senior Risk Manager
We are looking for a Senior Risk Manager to lead the Asset Management Risk function at a financial services firm. The role focuses on identifying and managing risks to safeguard clients, employees, and the company's reputation while supporting asset growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead risk governance frameworks and manage risk meetings.
- Identify and mitigate emerging risks with regional management.
- Ensure compliance with operational risk standards and monitor key metrics.
- Assess and address risks for new products and services.
- Support client presentations, due diligence, and regional risk initiatives.
- Enhance processes and systems to improve efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Promote and integrate effective risk management practices.
Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in Finance or related field; certifications like CFA or FRM are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of financial instruments and risk management, including liquidity, market, and credit risks.
- Experience in asset management with a focus on risk and controls.
- Familiarity with local and global regulatory frameworks.
- Fluency in Japanese and English.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and multitasking skills.
