Senior Platform Engineer - English Only OK/Global Environment

Our client is private Japanese company developing robotic spacecraft technologies to build landers and rovers to compete for both transportation exploration and mission contracts from space agencies and private industry.
They have started their business in less than 5 years ago and has reached to nearly 200 members within the company. Many foreigners are also working in the company.
This made them to be ranked within the top ten largest startups in Japan, and this puts their total funding value at US $200M (22.8 billion yen) since their founding.

They are looking for a Platform Engineer to join the software engineering team that develops solutions using satellite data and machine learning/image processing algorithms.
You will help the software engineers by any appropriate modern methods of development as well as design and code software solutions for assigned spacecraft such as attitude or communication, power and data management.

What they are looking for:

- About minimum years 3 of experience as a Backend or Platform Engineer in SaaS/PaaS

- Plus points if several years of experience in leading a team

- Positive attitude and eagerness to work in a start up environment

- Proficient in Go or Python

- Business level English. Japanese is a strong plus
