Senior Payments Services Specialist - Tokyo
A global name in financial services firm in Tokyo is hiring a Senior Payments Specialist. The role focuses on managing JPY and foreign currency payments via SWIFT and BOJ Net systems, leading local and offshore teams, and overseeing complex transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize payment operations, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks through process improvements and effective outsourcing strategies.
- Provide strategic guidance to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop team capabilities through training and performance management.
- Maintain adherence to internal controls and compliance regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Japanese banks and key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of payment and FX transactions, including FXYCS and regulatory reporting.
