Senior Accounting Manager (12-14m, 3 days WFH Remote Work)

Our client are a major retail company, recruiting a Senior Accounting Manager.

This is a team management position with strategic responsibility in a global company.

Responsibilities:

• - Lead a large team (approx 8-10 staff).
• - Oversee monthly and yearly financial closures.
• - Handle account reconciliations
• - Prepare detailed financial analyses and reports.
• - Lead projects to update & improve company policies / accounting procedures.
• - Collaborate with global / regional HQ on special projects.

Experience:

• - 8+ years of relevant experience in accounting and tax
• - Knowledge of both US/Japan GAAP, as well as Japanese Tax Law.
• - Team management experience.
• - Proficiency in SAP (FI/CO)
• - Experience in General Ledger management.
• - US CPA certification (preferred, but not mandatory)
• - MUST be fluent in Japanese.
