Responsibilities:

Manage Japanese customs procedures, ensuring timely preparation and submission of all necessary import documents, and act as the main contact with customs authorities.

日本の通関手続きを管理し、必要な輸入書類をタイムリーに準備・提出し、通関当局との主要な連絡役を担当します。

Compile and manage documents for Letters of Commitment to ensure accurate submissions.

誓約書類の作成と管理を行い、正確な提出を確保します。

Work with different business departments to gather information and maintain effective communication for import operations.

異なる業務部門と連携し、情報を収集し、輸入業務のための効果的なコミュニケーションを維持します。

Communicate daily with overseas group companies about customs tasks like tax classification and rate updates, mainly using English via email and chat.

海外のグループ会社と毎日連絡を取り、税分類や税率の更新などの通関業務を主に英語のメールやチャットで行います。

Qualifications:

Proven experience in the manufacturing sector, focusing on customs operations in Japan.

日本での通関業務に特化した製造業界での実務経験。

Strong understanding of import business processes.

輸入業務のプロセスに対する深い理解。

Ability to work independently at an assistant manager level.

アシスタントマネージャーとして独立して業務を遂行できる能力。

Excellent English communication skills for interaction with global teams.
