Payroll Specialist - (hybrid working, relaxed culture)
We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to manage payroll for employees in Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong. This role is an opportunity to work in a global setting with a flexible schedule. Core hours are 11 am to 4 pm, Monday to Thursday, with shorter hours on Fridays. Benefits include a transportation allowance, social insurance, and discounts on fashion collections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle payroll for over 130 employees in Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
- Prepare and submit documents for new hires, departures, and staff changes to payroll vendors.
- Ensure time and attendance records are accurate.
- Reconcile social insurance payments monthly.
- Communicate regularly with payroll vendors to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform HR administrative tasks, like issuing contracts.
- Use SAP/SUCCESS FACTORS for data management.
- Coordinate with sales teams and payroll vendors.
- Ensure compliance with Japanese legal procedures by working with store managers and office staff.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar payroll role, preferably in the fashion retail sector.
- Expertise in Japanese payroll and administrative processes, with knowledge of Japanese labor laws.
- Strong communication skills in Japanese (native level) and English (business level).
- Familiarity with SAP/SUCCESS FACTORS or similar HR systems.
- Experience in compensation and benefits is a plus.
- Strong strategic vision, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
