Operational Risk Vice President
We are looking for a Vice President to join the Operational Risk Management team of a major player in the financial services industry. This key role involves strengthening risk management strategies to protect capital and improve shareholder value.
You will work in a fast-paced environment, contribute to strategic projects, and collaborate with a team of diverse professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee a framework to identify, monitor, and report operational risks across the organization.
- Analyze risk events and propose preventive measures in collaboration with global and local teams.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide strategic recommendations to mitigate risks.
- Partner with senior management and internal stakeholders to ensure effective risk management practices.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in Japanese and business-level English.
- Solid experience in operational risk management and process improvement.
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments and drive business process enhancements.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Background in finance, compliance, or risk roles within financial institutions.
- Knowledge of asset management, trust banking, or group company operations is a plus.
- Experience in project management, system development, or data governance is advantageous.
