Location: Mita, Tokyo (Hybrid Work - 2 days WFH, Super Flextime with no core hours)

About the Company:
A leading global trading company, our client operates in 35+ countries with a focus on market expansion services. In Japan, the company specializes in consumer goods, performance materials, and technology, offering a dynamic environment blending international and domestic culture.

Role Summary:
The Marketing Manager will drive brand marketing and communication strategies focusing on expanding market presence across online channels and stores. Reporting to the Head of Division, you'll collaborate with a team of 4 to deliver impactful campaigns and strengthen brand recognition in Japan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute marketing strategies in collaboration with the brand to expand market reach.
• Analyze the current product portfolio and identify opportunities for market growth.
• Manage end-to-end marketing activities, including 4Ps, forecasting, and purchase/sell-through planning.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for brand communication and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Work on brand portfolio strategies and create tailored distribution agreements.
• Collaborate with the team to enhance online and offline brand visibility.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in consumer goods or retail.
• Strong experience in brand management, including strategy building and messaging.
• Fluency in Japanese (spoken and written) and business-level English.
• Proven ability to develop and execute market expansion strategies.
• Analytical skills with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
