Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) - Luxury Sector
A leader in the luxury industry is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support their retail operations in Japan and South Korea. This role involves shaping HR strategies in a top-tier environment focused on excellence and innovation. As an HRBP, you'll be key in hiring, onboarding, and retaining talent, making sure HR operations align with the company's brand values.
You'll handle various HR tasks and help shape HR practices in the luxury market. You'll work with management and staff to create a positive workplace and support business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Lead recruitment for office and retail positions, working with the Talent Acquisition team and store management.
- - Create and implement sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent.
- - Oversee onboarding and develop programs to improve employee engagement and retention.
- - Manage payroll processes with external providers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- - Handle employee records and support visa and work authorization processes.
- - Be the main HR contact for employees, offering guidance on policies and employee relations.
- - Work with managers to build a positive workplace culture.
- - Assist with performance evaluations and goal setting, providing coaching to improve HR practices.
- - Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, maintaining accurate HR records.
- - Manage daily office operations and organize events to promote teamwork and recognize achievements.
Qualifications:
- - At least 7 years of HR experience in the luxury or high-end retail sector in Japan.
- - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- - Experience with payroll systems and working with external providers.
- - Strong knowledge of employment law and best practices in employee relations.
- - Excellent skills in building relationships, analyzing situations, and solving problems.
- - Willingness to travel within Japan as needed.
