We are looking for a Head of Finance to lead our client's financial operations in Tokyo. You will handle key financial tasks like cash management, auditing, accounting, budgeting, and compliance. This role needs someone who can think strategically and understands the hotel and investment industries well. You will help drive financial success and support the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities

• - Lead financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• - Conduct financial analysis to guide strategic decisions.
• - Oversee budget preparation, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• - Manage capital expenditure plans to align with business goals.
• - Act as the main contact for audits, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• - Develop financial policies and maintain control over financial activities.
• - Monitor and improve internal control systems for efficiency and risk reduction.
• - Manage cash flow to support operations.
• - Oversee credit and collections, managing relationships with clients and vendors.
• - Conduct financial reviews to ensure fiscal compliance.
• - Manage payroll, ensuring timely and accurate employee compensation.
• - Work with HR to ensure compliance with employment standards and benefits.
• - Oversee accounts payable, ensuring timely processing within budget limits.

Qualifications & Skills

• - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration. Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
• - Extensive experience in financial management, ideally in the hotel or investment sectors.
• - Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex financial data.
• - Fluent in Japanese; English proficiency is preferred.
