A leading company in the FMCG sector is looking for a Head of Data and AI to build and lead a team focused on improving processes through data and AI. Key Responsibilities:

• - Create and apply data strategies to improve efficiency and innovation.
• - Work with IT teams to design and maintain strong data platforms.
• - Set up data governance to ensure data quality and security.
• - Understand business needs and manage AI and data projects with teams both in Japan and abroad.

Skills and Experience:

• - More than 5 years in AI Engineering and Data Science, with a history of solving complex data problems.
• - Strong knowledge of AI/ML algorithms and cloud services like Snowflake, OpenAI, AWS, and GCP.
• - Skilled in system integration, including global data architecture design.
• - Proven project management abilities, including managing stakeholders and leading external teams.
• - Skilled in Python, SQL, data analysis, and building machine learning models.

Qualifications:

• - Experience in creating data and AI strategies and governance.
• - Familiarity with platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.
• - Knowledge of supply chain and demand forecasting.
• - Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• - Advanced skills in AI/ML, including deep learning and time-series analysis.
• - Understanding of food distribution and import-export.
• - Strong English communication skills for working with global teams.
• - Experience in developing AI and Data Science talent.
