FP&A Manager - Retail FMCG (12-Month Contract, Hybrid)

We are looking for an experienced FP&A Manager for a 12-month hybrid contract in Tokyo with a leading retail FMCG company. This role is perfect for someone who wants to work in a global setting and play a key part in financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage monthly volume tracking and provide timely analysis to stakeholders.

- Lead volume management for planning processes, working with the demand planning team.

- Handle monthly financial reporting and communicate results on time.

- Oversee financial planning, bringing together forecasts from various business areas.

- Evaluate performance against plans, identifying risks and opportunities.

- Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams on monthly A&P reporting.

- Develop A&P forecasts and track actuals versus forecasts.

- Improve team effectiveness by leading and mentoring two team members.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

- Fluent in Japanese and English.

- 7-10 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a similar role in a large multinational company.

- Experience in a Big 4 audit firm and knowledge of IFRS are a plus.

- Familiarity with SAP and integrated business systems is beneficial.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills.

- High integrity and a proactive, results-driven attitude.

- Focus on continuous improvement with a hands-on approach.
