Financial Market Data Analyst
We are recruiting for a Financial Market Data Analyst to join our client, a global name in Financial Services industry. This position involves designing and implementing data solutions, improving data accuracy, and working with clients and stakeholders.
You will focus on derivatives and use your skills to solve business challenges with effective solutions.
Responsibilities:
- - Specialize in Fixed Income, Equities, or Derivatives.
- - Oversee daily tasks, including introducing new instruments and ensuring data quality for millions of tickers.
- - Collect, update, and maintain high-quality financial data with company software.
- - Work with Product, Sales, Engineering, and News teams to improve products.
Qualifications:
- - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field, Finance, or similar experience.
- - Fluent in English and Japanese.
- - More than 2 years of experience in managing data processes, focusing on data quality and ETL pipelines.
- - Strong skills in Python or similar languages, and experience with Git, UNIX, and SQL.
- - Excellent communication skills for managing client relationships.
- - Ability to spot inefficiencies and create solutions in data management.
- - Knowledge of Equities, Fixed Income, or Derivatives and strong experience with databases, schemas, and working with JSON files.
