We are a leading hospitality company looking for a skilled Finance Director to manage our financial operations in Japan.
This important role involves overseeing the finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting across various properties. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner, improving team efficiency and taking part in decisions that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit accurate financial and management reports.
- Regularly review company accounts, records, and transactions.
- Manage credit, collections, and keep records for fixed assets and inventories.
- Protect contracts, leases, and other essential documents.
- Analyze monthly financial reports and correct any discrepancies.
- Work with management to prepare budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage timely financial obligations.
- Suggest and implement improvements in accounting and internal controls.
- Oversee cash flow and procurement processes.
- Enhance productivity of the finance team.
- Train and develop finance staff.
- Maintain strong relationships with business partners and other departments.
- Provide financial guidance to the Country GM and take on additional duties as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 10 years of accounting and finance experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role in real estate or hospitality.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.

- Proficient in financial software and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
