A prominent bank is looking for a Vice President in their Derivatives Middle Office. You will be managing transactions for trading desks, focusing on client securities and derivatives.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main operational contact for client inquiries and requests.
• Handle client issues related to trade booking, allocation, margining, and fees, working with relevant teams.
• Manage account openings with the front office and KYC/Onboarding teams, ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain legal, regulatory, and operational control requirements for clients.
• Support client onboarding and account openings.
• Resolve customer issues effectively.
• Lead initiatives to improve client experiences and operational processes.
• Manage daily margin requirements and payments, adhering to exchange regulations.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in the financial industry.
• Knowledge in Exchange Traded Future products and Client Clearing in OTC.
• Comfortable in global and regional teams.
• Proven ability in process improvement and initiating change.
• Familiarity with industry systems like GMI, MarkitWire, Omgeo, and Cloud Margin (preferred).
• Background in metrics and management reporting (preferred).
• Fluency in Japanese is Mandatory.
