Commercial Analytics Director
A global consumer company, home to blockbuster Japanese brands, is seeking a Commercial Analytics Director to lead data-driven decision-making and performance optimisation in Japan.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Analytics Leadership
- Develop & execute analytics strategies
- Establish KPIs & reporting frameworks
- Drive data-driven decision-making through advanced modeling and forecasting
Performance Measurement & Optimisation
- Oversee commercial performance analysis across national, regional, and channel levels
- Advanced analytics (eg, marketing mix modeling, machine learning) to enhance business impact
- Self-service BI tools and predictive analytics to modernize reporting
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing, sales, finance, and digital teams to drive commercial strategy
- Work with global teams to deploy cutting-edge analytical methodologies
- Manage vendors & leverage best-in-class analytics solutions
Qualifications
✔ Experience in analytics in FMCG, consumer goods, or related industry
✔ Experience in marketing mix modeling, forecasting, business intelligence
✔ Experience in Japan's retail, digital, and eCommerce landscape
✔ Proficiency in Power BI, AI, predictive analytics tools
