Business Development Manager @ Global Law Firm (Work in English OK!)

Our client is a leading international law firm specializing in business law advice. They employ thousands of staff worldwide & have a strong presence in Japan.

They're recruiting a Business Development Manager. You'll work on Global Transactions / M&A.

This is a rare opportunity that does not require Japanese fluency! The primary working language is English.

Our client also offers a highly generous salary (up to 18m JPY).

Responsibilities:

• Create Business Development opportunities in Japan.
• Collaborate with global office for international client nurturing.
• Develop strategic marketing and BD plans.
• Produce marketing content, campaigns, events, and directory submissions.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.

Requirements:

• Relevant business development / sales experience. Marketing experience also advantageous.
• Experience in relevant industries such as legal, accounting firms, tech firms, or consulting.
• Deep knowledge of the Japan market, with relevant networks.
• Proven project management skills.
• Japanese language skills a plus, but not required.
