Job Overview
The IT Retail Technology Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting and optimizing retail business operations through global retail solutions. The position requires a blend of business acumen and technical expertise, enabling seamless collaboration with local and global teams under the guidance of supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Systems Management:
- Oversee and support global retail systems, ensuring smooth operations and prompt resolution of incidents.
- Monitor and manage issue resolution progress, proposing actionable solutions for system enhancements.
Omnichannel Project Support:
- Assist in defining system requirements for omnichannel initiatives, coordinating test plans, and supporting deployment activities.
- Collaborate with Retail, E-commerce, and other business teams to implement and maintain effective omnichannel strategies.
Documentation and Training:
- Develop operational guidelines, user manuals, and training materials for business users.
- Ensure thorough documentation of systems and processes to promote operational consistency.
Issue Reporting and Communication:
- Identify, document, and escalate system issues to senior management.
- Share insights and findings within the team to facilitate continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills
- A Bachelor's Degree in any related fields
- Proven experience in retail technology, IT systems management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams effectively.
- Familiarity with global retail solutions and omnichannel strategies is a plus.
- Business level in English and fluent in Japanese
