Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on banking and finance to a wide range of clients.
- Manage financial transactions like loans, mergers, and acquisitions, ensuring they meet legal requirements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and financial agreements to safeguard client interests.
- Stay updated on Japanese and international banking regulations for client compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments and create strategies to reduce legal risks.
Qualifications
- Law degree from an accredited university; licensed to practice in Japan or other jurisdictions is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in banking and finance law, ideally in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, fluent in English and Japanese.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or in a team.
