Accounting Manager (Hotel Pre-opening - Kansai Region)
Our client are a leading global hotel group, recruiting an Accounting Manager to lead the financial operations for a new hotel in Kyoto.
You'll be in charge of building & managing a team, and you'll set up the financial systems before opening, and manage them on an ongoing basis once the hotel has opened.

Responsibilities:
- - Lead & manage a team.
- - Set up ethical and legal financial control systems.
- - Create and manage both hotel-wide and departmental budgets and forecasts.
- - Manage daily financial tasks.
- - Provide training to new team members and other teams as required.
- - Work with HR, asset managers, and regulatory bodies.
- - Ensure that relevant enquiries from hotel patrons are answered.
- - Make sure all guest accounts are managed and reconciled properly.
- - Find cost-saving opportunities; lead projects to improve efficiency.
- - Oversee monthly account reconciliations, credit extensions, and collections.
- - Advise on rate strategies.
Qualifications:
- - 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting or internal auditing
- - Experience in hotels / hospitality.
- - Team leadership experience (preferred)
- - Project management experience
- - MUST be fluent in Japanese
