Accounting Director

We are looking for an experienced and bilingual Accounting Director to lead the financial team for a top company in the IT field. The right candidate must be fluent in Japanese and English and must already live in Japan. This role is a great chance to use your language skills and accounting knowledge in a dynamic IT setting, helping your career grow while protecting the financial health of a major organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee general ledger operations to ensure they are accurate and meet regulations.
- Resolve complex accounting issues, ensuring compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
- Analyze account changes and create detailed reports.
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting tasks.
- Develop strong financial policies and procedures to support decision-making.
- Set up and maintain internal controls to protect company assets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including 2 years in a leadership role.
- Over 3 years of work in a corporate accounting setting.
- Experience in an audit firm is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related area, or equivalent professional qualifications.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP or IFRS.
- Strong teamwork skills and a desire to work in a collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in process management, financial software, auditing, and setting financial standards.

- US GAAPまたはIFRSの深い理解。
