A leading chemical company in Tokyo is looking for an experienced Site Buyer to manage indirect procurement, build strong internal relationships, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:


Oversee the full sourcing process for indirect procurement, including bids, negotiations, and contracts.
間接購買の一連の調達プロセスを管理し、入札、交渉、契約を担当します。

Leverage local market insights to identify and develop supplier relationships.
現地市場の知見を活かし、サプライヤーとの関係構築を推進します。

Ensure procurement activities align with compliance and efficiency standards.
コンプライアンスおよび効率基準に準拠した調達業務を遂行します。

Meet regularly with site management to review performance and drive improvements.
現場管理チームと定期的に会議を行い、業務のパフォーマンスを評価し、改善策を実施します。

Serve as the main contact for site-specific procurement issues, compliance, and emergencies.
現場固有の購買関連の課題やコンプライアンス、緊急対応における主要な窓口として対応します。

Facilitate clear communication between procurement and site operations.
購買部門と現場オペレーション間の円滑なコミュニケーションを促進します。

Collaborate with global and regional teams on supplier management and market analysis.
グローバルおよび地域チームと連携し、サプライヤー管理や市場分析を行います。

Provide advice on new projects, including supplier evaluation and cost analysis.
新規プロジェクトに関するアドバイスを提供し、サプライヤー評価やコスト分析を担当します。

Lead procurement for small capital expenditure projects.
小規模な設備投資プロジェクトの購買業務を主導します。


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree, preferably in chemistry or a related field.
学士号（化学または関連分野が望ましい）を有すること。

5+ years of experience in indirect procurement within a multi-group chemical company.
複数の事業部門を持つ化学企業での間接購買の経験5年以上を持つ方。

Strong English & Japanese skills (spoken & written).
英語と日本語のスキル（読み書き・会話）が必要です。

Excellent negotiation & communication skills to drive business success.
交渉力とコミュニケーション能力を活かし、ビジネスの成功を推進できる方。
