Senior IT Manager - JPY 16Mil, Hybrid, Global FMCG Trading

Job Description:

• Oversee the management, maintenance, and assessment of local IT systems and infrastructure to ensure they align with Group IT standards and projects.
• Effectively manage project budgets and expenses to optimize resource utilization.
• Oversee IT implementation activities, ensuring timely delivery and robust support for business users.
• Ensure compliance with IT standards, providing guidelines to maintain operational plans for IT systems.
• Develop and execute local IT policies and plans, ensuring alignment with the organization's budget, IT roadmap, and Group IT directives.
• Lead and mentor a team of 4 IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Collaborate closely with the Regional Office and the President in Japan to ensure IT strategies support business objectives.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve IT operations and systems.

Qualifications:

• Native Japanese speaker and fluent in English
• Proven experience with SAP systems.
• Previous experience in wholesale trading is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent project management skills with a track record of managing budgets and resources effectively.
• In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and compliance standards.
• Ability to develop and implement IT policies and plans in alignment with organizational goals.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with regional and local leadership.
