Senior Commercial Finance Manager (FMCG, Bilingual in Japanese/English, upto 14M - 23M)


We are looking for a Senior Commercial Finance Manager for a leading company in the FMCG sector in Tokyo. In this key role, you will work with marketing and supply chain teams to develop financial strategies that promote business growth and improve investment returns. You will oversee financial evaluations, budget management, and strategic pricing, all to increase shareholder value.


Key Responsibilities

• - Work with marketing teams to create and implement investment and pricing strategies that meet company goals.
• - Perform detailed financial analyses to evaluate the success of marketing programs and ensure efficient use of resources.
• - Oversee the planning and execution of financial plans, ensuring they align with marketing goals and budget limits.
• - Provide expert financial evaluation for pricing strategies and their market impact.
• - Maintain strong financial governance and control systems, encouraging continuous improvement.
• - Mentor and develop finance team members to support their professional growth.

Qualifications and Requirements

• - More than 7 years of finance experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• - Strong financial analysis skills, including ROI and NPV evaluations, with the ability to provide actionable insights.
• - Proven experience in building cross-functional business partnerships and strategic financial planning.
• - Deep understanding of marketing strategies and their impact on business operations.
• - Fluency in English and Japanese, with strong communication skills.
