Senior Accountant (10m JPY, Hybrid Work OK!) US FinTech Client

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join a top US-based FinTech company who are currently experiencing fast growth. Our client is located in central Tokyo, but you can also work from home.

Responsibilities:

• - Serve as the main contact with regional shared services center for accounting issues.
• - Lead special projects to improve processes & increase efficiency.
• - Help formulate new accounting policies.
• - Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory reports on time.
• - Analyze financial data.
• - Assist with audits.
• - Review month-end accounting entries.

Qualifications:

• - MUST be fluent in Japanese.
• - 3+ years of experience in finance & accounting.
• - Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• - Experience in finance industry, fintech industry, or other tech (preferred).
• - Experience with Big 4 accounting firms (preferred).
• - CPA certification (US or Japan) (preferred).
• - Experience in regulatory reporting is helpful (preferred).
