Our client are a globally recognized player in the asset management / investment sector, recruiting a Private Capital Sales Specialist.

Private Capital products will be a huge growth area in Japan for 2025 and onward --- this is an chance ideal for a mid-career sales person who wants to take advantage of this market to fast-track their career. Responsibilities:

• - Create distribution strategy for wealth products in Japan (focus on alternative investments and real assets), in collaboration with senior / executive leaders.
• - Advise on marketing strategy and positioning.
• - Collaborate with local teams (incl. relationship managers and product specialists) to effectively market products in Japan.
• - Lead efforts to raise capital and manage client relations in wealth and institutional channels.

Qualifications:

• - 8+ years of experience in client solutions or distribution roles
• - Experience in private markets and real assets (strongly preferred).
• - Successful track record in raising capital in wealth or institutional channels.
• - In-depth knowledge of fundraising, fund structures, and client preferences.
• - CFA certification (preferred).
• - MUST be fluent in Japanese.
